Kannapolis center fielder Archie Gilbert made two outstanding catches. Ther first came in the third inning when he robbed Burns with a layout catch, then holding onto the ball when he hit the warning track stomach first. In the fifth inning, he made a carbon copy of that catch against Scott Cousins, again laying out, snaring the ball and hitting the dirt on the warning track.
